The city of Zillion Dreams - Mumbai

M

umbai is perhaps the liveliest city on earth.

In a single word, the city is dynamic.

The people: There's nothing to worry about here. If you ask for assistance, you will always get it. You'll get precise directions to a specific location if you ask for them. Of course, generalisations are dangerous, but the people can be grouped into the “wonderful” category. “You'll always find someone fighting in the neighbourhood,” a local says. “You can travel wherever you want.” It's entertaining to watch.

Weather: Every day from March through May, you'll hear, "It's so brutally hot today!" Expect high humidity as well. Rainfall is expected from June through September. The labour, on the other hand, never stops. Remember that the city never sleeps? October is uncomfortable, but November to February is fairly pleasant.

I am born and brought up in this beautiful city. As I grew up, I saw this city stops for no one, unless it’s a heavily rainy day and train stop functioning ;). Mumbai locals are known as lifeline of the city. It is easy to commute from any end of the city to any end by local trains. I personally prefer travelling by trains instead of using road. Firstly because of high frequencies of trains and secondly Mumbai is also known for its crazy traffic.

See Mumbai My Way is a platform where you will visualise how I see and feel about this city of Dreams. I will show you my favourite places to eat street food throughout the city, my favourite dishes from the place and how to get there. So, ladies and gentleman get ready for the food and travel journey through Mumbai. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Hope here also you will shower your love by following this blog.
